I love old books. Really old books. Books that smell. Books with yellowed pages, broken bindings.

As a member of the Athenaeum of Philadelphia and a vintage book store nerd, I am usually not far from a travel book a hundred or hundreds of years old. How did those writers see their world? How did they view exploration? Other cultures? Tourism?
